Remember to keep any tattoos covered up as they are associated with
criminality - some rugby players wear those skin covered sleeves when put so they don’t cause offence.

Well done to you guys who have travelled out to see this event. Do keep the updates coming and give us a feel for the place and the matches you get to see. Very jealous of you all. Enjoy.

Good to meet glawsjohn and his son Matt at the airport/on route to Tokyo.

We are struggling to keep our eyes open following 26 hours of being awake but have already had a great time. Spent the afternoon getting to know some locals in a range of restaurants and bars, everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s been great.

From what I could see this didnt seem to be an issue for the 'Japanese' players ...
The only problem with doing nothing is not knowing when you have finished.

Fanzone in Tokyo is minuscule so was locked out last evening. However, I met a couple of guys from Crewe who said they'd been sitting next to a couple of Glaws fans at the big Sumo tournament. I guess that means Glaws might be bringing some silverware back from Japan.
