Yes money talks, but rugby is nowhere near the main sport in France, it's miles behind football, probably behind things like Basketball and handball as well.

Pétanque/Boules, has got to be up there in the popularity stakes.

That's fair enough. Tbh, Pétanque is probably more participatory
Of course, cycling hasn't been mentioned.

I did contact hospitality about the offer mentioned on the website but haven't had a reply. Has anyone else had more luck?

I would like to know as flight prices will keep going up.

It says on the website that they'll contact you next week(which is this week) so I'd imagine they're going through them currently. If you're concerned it's probably best ringing the ticket office.

Failing that, if you can get to Gatwick there are direct flights that weekend for £140.

After looking at everyone's plans and how to get there the easiest way, return flights booked for Marseille direct from Heathrow, return train tickets to Montpellier booked , AirBnb booked, just rugby tickets to purchase once I get to grips with translating their website ....

Superb ideas from various people on here, first European trip away for the three of us ....

Get onboard !!! :D :)

Just a note to all thinking of going - British Airways on Saturday to Marseille and return on Monday - £85.00 return !
Return train to Montpellier from Marseille - £24.00

Very reasonable - Spent more going away to Harlequins last year

Doing exactly that - 7.35ish from Heathrow: 18.00ish return.

Difference is we decided to go first class on the train....28 Euros each!

Looking at the Montpellier website they only have tickets on sale for next 2 matches - looks like prices range from about 20 Euros in the corners to 54 euros for front and centre.....just hope they have some available for visiting fans!

Likewise, fingers crossed. We’ll be driving down to Heathrow so will have a couple of spare seats on the way there. Coming home though, we are on the 0735 flight from Marseille. Message me if you want to take advantage
