Allyson Pollock was on Radio 4 yet again this morning demanding they ban tackling in all forms of rugby until you are twenty, why do they give her such unchallenged air-time :x

She trots this rubbish out every year and it usually gets discredited pretty quickly. Unfortunately it doesn't stop it getting headlines and I'm sure there are a few put off the game because of it.

The problem that is now increasing going to grow is how to tackle a player who runs at you with a lowered head / torso. In effect you are only going to be able to tackle them from behind or below the knee as they pass you?

Wayne Barnes talked about this on Rugby Tonight, I thought his answer was unconvincing. Certain players have worked it out; Woodburn runs in to contact extremely low.
